Aisling Bea

Aisling B a is born on on 16 March 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She was featured on QI together alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is better known by her stage name Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea started appearing as part of the cast in Irish or British TV programs in the year 2009, made her debut as a stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012 Bea began appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. In 2012, following her won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear often in various panel shows. She's a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats since the year 2016 and is a popular contestant of its sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. She was only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Bea's surname is in honour of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on March 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian took his life at the age of three. He was a horse veterinarian. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing to death until she was 13 years old. To honor the man she loved, Bea took the stage name Bea and in 2017, published an article on suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea's mother Helen She is a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was responsible for the care of her daughter and Sinead. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. Bea started out as an official guide for tourists at the Irish National Stud. But she realized her true passion was acting, not racing.
