Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16 and a leading role in several TV dramas. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the TV movie Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. The film won an Oscar and won critical and commercial great success. The other Oscar nominated film starring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. In the past, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of notable international and national projects. This includes the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historic miniseries Napoleon as well as other miniseries. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
